HACOH Hosts Community Coffee
The Housing Authority of the City of Hope (HACOH) hosted the November Hope Hempstead County Community Coffee at their offices located at 720 Texas Street. Many locals attended and visited with the Housing Authority Board and Leadership team while they snacked on a beautiful spread catered by Sheba's Family Restaurant.
HACOH is a public housing agency that provides affordable housing for up to 428 low- and moderate-income households through its Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), Public Housing & Rural Development programs.
Materials were available for those interested in becoming an HCV Landlord that described the program and specifications.
The Housing Authority has also been in the process of renovating some of the homes, and pictures of the remodeled homes were on display at each table.
Interim Director Zach Hicks expressed his gratitude for all their guests, sharing that HACOH is building more partnerships and relationships throughout the community to better serve their residents.
